No credit cards at MetroCard machines Saturday AM

NEW YORK

The MTA is upgrading its credit card system, so you won't be able to use a credit or debit card in any vending machine.

The disruption will start overnight at 1:00 a.m. and last until at least 9:00 Saturday morning and possibly until noon.

You will still be able to use cash in the machines.
