An Illinois marine, who was severely wounded in Afghanistan, received a hero's welcome in Antioch, Ill., on Tuesday.

Corp. John Peck has been recovering at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D.C., and is here on temporary leave.

Last year, Peck lost his legs and both of his arms were severely injured when an explosive device detonated in Afghanistan. Four years ago, he suffered a brain injury when his convoy was hit by another device.
