Persian recipes from author Reyna Simnegar

Simnegar is a Venezuelan woman who fell in love and married a Persian man. Her husband loves his mother's authentic Persian cooking, so Reyna took a crash-course from her mother-in-law, learned how to prepare great Persian meals and added her own contemporary spin on many traditional favorites.

Renya's new cook book "Persian Food from the Non-Persian Bride" features 130 traditional dishes as well as contemporary spins on family favorites such as Stuffed Cornish Hens with Rose Petals, Persian Meat Latkes and Persian Mussaka.
