FLINT The clerk was taking names up until 4 p.m. Tuesday. ABC12 now has the latest
list.
Nine candidates got their petitions in on time and will compete for the city's
top spot, including incumbent Dayne Walling.
Some names are familiar, while others may be new to the political scene.
Here are the candidates in the order they were submitted:
Scott Smith
Darryl E. Buchanan, former city council President
David Davenport, current school board member
Jung Ho Kim
Don Pfeiffer
Eric Mays
Michael Harris
Dayne Walling, current Flint mayor
Phillip LaBarge
The primary is in August. The top two vote-getters will face each other in the
November general election.
This is for a full four year term.
