Actress Felicia Fields visits ABC7's State Street Studio

May 12, 2011 (CHICAGO)

The Tony nominee and Jeff Award Winner is actually reprising her role in the musical comedy as Sister Hubert in the Dan Goggin-inspired comedies about the Little Sisters of Hoboken. Fields did not appear in her first "Nusense" until 1999. In "Nunset Boulevard", Sister Hubert and the four other nuns have found themselves conned out of some charity money. To recoup it, they pursue a chance to sing at the Hollywood Bowl. But when they arrive in California, they realize they were instead booked to perform at the Hollywood Bowl-A-Rama, a bowling alley with a cabaret lounge. The sisters take on the task anyway, and the hilarity begins as they contend with the bowling alley public address system as well as the activity on the lanes. The comedy mounts when the nuns learn that a famous movie producer is across the street auditioning actresses for his new movie musical, "NUNSET BOULEVARD: A Song from the Hart," about the life of Dolores Hart, the famous movie star who became a nun. Will the sisters choose show business or return to their natural calling?

"Nunset Boulevard" runs through May 29th at the Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana.
