Daniel Ryan worked for the Clarendon Hills Police Department. He's charged with possession of a stolen firearm, theft and official misconduct.
In February, the DuPage County State's Attorney's office says it got a tip that the weapons disappeared from the police department's evidence room. The FBI says it eventually traced the missing weapons back to Ryan.
He turned himself in Friday morning and posted bond.
