Amazon says electronic books are now outselling traditional print books.

The online retailer and the maker of the Kindle e-reader says since April Amazon says it has sold 105 e-books for every 100 printed books. That includes books that do not come in an electronic form.

Amazon has sold e-books for less than four years. This year it has sold more than three times the number of Kindle e-readers as it did this time last year.
