A commuter flight headed from Chicago to North Dakota had to turn around last night because of an engine problem.

The American Eagle flight was headed to Fargo. It returned to O'Hare Airport about 30 minutes after taking off.

The Chicago Tribune reports that a cockpit light indicated a problem with the air compression of one of the plane's engines.

Aviation officials say the American Eagle flight returned to the airport and landed safely around 8:50 p.m.
