Democrats have released their proposal for a remap of legislative districts in Illinois.

Since Democrats have the majority in the House and Senate, they get to redraw districts following the last census.

Republicans say 17 members of their party will be forced to run in districts against other Republicans. Pat Brady, the chairman of the Republican Party, is calling the Democratic remap "a national embarrassment."
