2 cops among 3 hurt in West Englewood crash

Two Chicago police officers were injured when another vehicle blew a red light and struck their squad car overnight in the West Englewood neighborhood.

Both officers were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good to "stable" condition.

A person in a third vehicle that was involved in the crash in the 1600 block of Marquette Road was taken to Holy Cross Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There was no word on whether any charges would be filed in the case.
