Sixteen-year-old Marlon Topang has cerebral palsy. A viewer saw ABC7's story on the theft of his wheelchair Monday and came forward to purchase Marlon a new one.
The new chair has been ordered and is being modified to match the one taken from Marlon's family's driveway this past Friday.
The Topang family said the original chair cost more than $5,000.
No arrests have been made in connection with the theft.
