A local trucking company came through for a boy who needed help delivering the donations he collected for survivors of that tornado.

Altom Trucking, based in southwest suburban Summit, donated a truck to deliver the goods.

Cole Rickert, 9, of north suburban Zion, is the force behind the drive. He started collecting what he thought would be just a few donations but the response was overwhelming.

Volunteers filled one truck but then needed another. That's when an ABC7 viewer got involved and helped provide the second truck.
