Joannie Pittman, 47, is charged with DUI and reckless homicide. She was driving the vehicle when it struck a guard rail and rolled over on the outbound Ryan near 75th street.
Eleven-month-old Everett Branlett was killed. He would have celebrated his first birthday next week.
Seven others were injured, including three children.
Pittman is due back in court June 20.
