Prosecutor Reid Schar spent a brief but combative hour grilling Blagojevich for the first time at the end of last week. He has said he needs at least another full day to finish.
Monday is Blagojevich's sixth day testifying. In previous days, he mainly fielded comparatively soft questions from his own lawyer.
The former governor denies all charges, including that he tried to sell President Barack Obama's vacated U.S. Senate seat.
