Wives who have trouble falling asleep seem to be more cranky, especially when it comes to dealing with their husbands.

An ongoing study at the University of Pittsburgh is analyzing the sleep patterns of 35 couples.

Researchers are finding that when women have a crummy night of rest their husbands report fewer positive and more negative interactions the next day.

But the same is not true if the husband is the one with the sleep issue.

Several studies have linked sleep deprivation with irritability. Researchers now want to know more about the dynamic link between relationships and sleep.
