2 new auxiliary bishops named in Chicago

Cardinal Francis George has announced the appointment of two new auxiliary bishops for the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Rev. Andrew Wypych and Rev. Alberto Rojas are the new bishop designates. When they are ordained as bishops later this summer, the men will enter the ranks of those who are successors of the apostles in the church.

Wypych will serve as a liason to the Polish Catholic community. Rojas will be the liaison for the Hispanic Catholic community.
