Martha Biggs and her four children moved into their new living space at 72nd and King Drive. The home was foreclosed and had been vacant for two years, but members of the Chicago anti-eviction campaign helped reclaim and repair the property for Biggs and her children.
"This is what happens when you keep it moving - you never sit down, stuff like this here," Biggs said.
According to the 2010 U.S. Census, Chicago's housing vacancy rate was 12.5 percent.
