The Rainbow PUSH Coalition is kicking off a summer event to try and get jobs for unemployed African Americans.

The organization says the employment rate for black males is at a 40-year low. It says only about 57 percent of black men over 20 years old have jobs.

So the unemployed are being asked to bring their resumes to a job fair Monday and Tuesday at the Chicago Hilton and Towers. Several corporations and government agencies are participating.
