Explosive device found at Evanston police post

One person is in custody Sunday night after allegedly planting an explosive device outside a police station in a northern suburb.

The device was found Saturday at the Evanston Police Department's Howard Street outpost. The device was defused. No one was hurt.

A person was taken into custody. No charges have yet been filed. Police say it appears the subject in custody acted alone.
