Chicago police football team beats Philly

The Chicago Police Enforcers football team battled the Philadelphia Blue Flames police squad on the gridiron Saturday.

The game was held at Brother Rice Stadium on the Southwest Side. Supt. Garry McCarthy was on the sideline shouting encouragement.

The Enforcers beat Philly to capture the U.S. championship.

Saturday's game was played in memory of fallen officer and former team member David Blake who was killed last November.

The game's final score was Chicago 24, Philadelphia 13.
