June 26, 2011 (CHICAGO) --
A weekend swimming trip turned tragic in north suburban Antioch when a man drowned.Lake County officials say the man in his 20s was boating with others on Lake Marie Saturday afternoon when some people in the group went for a swim.
When the man did not surface, others on the boat called 911.
The Antioch Fire Department used side scan sonar to locate the man.
Emergency crews later recovered his body.
