The cell phone of the truck driver involved in a deadly collision with an Amtrak train has been found at the crash site outside Reno, Nevada.

Lawrence Valli's phone will be looked at by federal authorities to determine if it was a distraction that could have led to the accident.

The inspection will indicate if a text message was in progress, or a call being made before the semi slammed into an Amtrak train from Chicago Friday.

The crash killed the driver and at least five people on the train.
