Police say 20-year-old Austin Watts fell while riding on the roof of a car last Thursday. He died over the weekend.
Investigators say 19-year-old Stephen Gallagher was driving the car at the time. Before Watts' death he had been charged with reckless conduct and reckless driving.
Those were upgraded to include reckless homicide. Eva Carlock, 18, and a 17-year-old also face lesser charges in the case.
