Chicago-based Groupon changes privacy policies

Groupon is changing its privacy policies in advance of launching its new "Groupon Now" mobile service.

The deal site is looking to collect more information as it offers more deals targeted to users based on their location.

Groupon wants to also give partner companies information on the interest and habits of its users.

Groupon says users can block sharing location information and getting more e-mail offers by changing their account settings.
