The cost of stargazing at the Adler Planetarium went up Thursday-- but not for children who live in Chicago.

The park district approved the $2 increase.

The entrance fee for Chicago residents is now $10 for adults. Seniors over 65 will pay $8. The $5 admission fee for Chicago children aged 3 to 11 remains the same.

The price for non-Chicago residents goes up to $12 for most adults and $8 for children.
