It is a rollicking romp through Elizabethan England, complete with 16th Century games, rides, arts, crafts, food, music and dance, and more than 1,200 period performers and artisans. The festival recreates the summer day in1574 when Queen Elizabeth visited the English hamlet of Bristol. The Faire is open Saturdays and Sundays through Sep. 4, and on Labor Day Monday, Sep. 5. Among 16 stages of non-stop entertainment, the Barely Balanced acrobatic comedy troupe is a faire favorite. They are in our studio to perform.
