Quinn discussed the debt crisis Thursday morning on Windy City LIVE. The governor said the debate in Washington could cause the state's bond rating to go down. In addition, Quinn says if the issue is not resolved, other things including nuclear-plant inspections and paying the National Guard could also be affected.
The governor added that congress has to make a move soon keeping in mind national security and the improving the economy.
