The union representing striking workers at Chicago's Park Hyatt hotel has filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board.

As workers staged a one day strike during last week's heat wave, someone at the Park Hyatt turned on the hotel's outdoor heat lamps. The hotel has apologized for the incident. But the union complaint accuses the hotel of assaulting the workers.

The hotel says it has filed its own complaint accusing the union of unlawful picketing.
