1st day of training camp for Chicago Bears

Six months after falling one game short of the Super Bowl, the Chicago Bears officially got back to the drawing board with their first training camp practice.

Coach Lovie Smith ran his players through drills Saturday afternoon in Bourbonnais.

Training camps around the league were delayed by the NFL lockout.

Veteran players, like quarterback Jay Cutler and linebacker Brian Urlacher joined newcomers and draft picks for Saturday's workout.
