Trains were running along a single track on a stretch of the CTA's Blue Line near O'Hare Tuesday night after a derailment shut down service between the Loop and the airport.

The derailment happened in the subway tunnel between the Rosemont stop and O'Hare station. One train car derailed and hit the subway wall. Police say one passenger was injured.

Once power was turned off, passengers were able to walk a short distance back to O'Hare station.

The CTA used shuttle busses to help move passengers between Rosemont and O'Hare during the service disruption.
