Some Chicago residents gathered Saturday in response to the violence plaguing their South Side neighborhood, such as a recent shooting that killed a 13-year-old boy.

The residents, who met at Fuller Park near 43rd Street and Princeton, say they are upset. They shared their concerns with each other and with police over the weekend.

Wednesday night, someone opened fire while 13-year-old Darius Brown was playing basketball, killing him.

Chicago police say they do not think Brown was the intended target.

A $10,000 reward is being offered in the case.
