This year, more than 1,900 women and men took part in the 60-mile journey to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. It started on Friday in Northbrook.
On Sunday morning, the walkers passed through a park along the Chicago River. Many participants said that this event is inspiring and life changing.
"The event was empowering, both physically and mentally," said Dr. Sheri Phillips, 3-Day spokeswoman and walker.
"I cannot wait to do this again," said walker Heather Lozinak.
This year's walk raised $5.1 million for research and community education programs.
