Dark chocolate might improve eyesight

August 9, 2011

A new study finds dark chocolate may improve your ability to see in "low-contrast" situations, including stormy weather.

Dark chocolate may also make your brain sharper.

Researchers from the University of Reading in England conducted the study.

The study applies strictly to dark chocolate because it contains a high amount of flavanols, which are antioxidants.

The study is published in Physiology and Behavior.
