Report: Chicago man drowns near Gary beach

The Chicago Tribune reports Pawel Lesny, 33, was with friends, when he disappeared under the waves near Wells Street Beach in Gary, Ind., Saturday afternoon.

A bystander spotted his body about 25 minutes later.

An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
