Rocky Clark maxes out insurance, asks Quinn for help

August 30, 2011 (CHICAGO)

Rocky Clark played for Eisenhower High School in south suburban Blue Island when he was injured. The school had catastrophic health insurance, but the benefits are capped at $5 million and Clark maxed out the insurance. His mother can't afford the bills.

Clark hopes the governor will take action. "I voted for this guy, Governor Quinn. To do this health insurance downgrade, you know, to where I have no choice about my health or my life is an insult to me," Clark said.

Clark says because his health insurance has expired, he has no control over his quality of care or his future.
