The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Mell and her longtime partner Christin Baker tied the knot last Wednesday during a ceremony in Iowa, one of six states where same-sex marriage is legal.
Mell is the daughter of Chicago Ald. Dick Mell and the sister of former Illinois first lady Patti Blagojevich.
