Ludwig is taking it brand products off store shelves in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will counties in Illinois. Items in Indiana, New Jersey and New York have also been recalled.
The dairy also sells a drinkable yogurt under the Nuestro Queso brand.
The dairy says a controlled pump that is supposed to stop the production of raw milk if there are problems was bypassed and replaced with a pump that did not do the same. Therefore, raw milk may have been mixed with pasteurized milk.
No illnesses have been reported.
