Police say an alarm went off at Mr. Beef and Pizza in Mount Prospect early Saturday morning, and when police arrived, they found Hachem Gomez making a meal. He apparently got into the restaurant through a drive-thru window.
Police say they have surveillance video of Gomez damaging a cash register, pouring himself a soda and putting chicken tenders into a microwave.
He was arrested and charged with burglary.
