Ind. Toll Road reopens, traffic snarled

All lanes on the Indiana Toll Road were reopened early Tuesday after a collapsed crane caused a shutdown.

It took crews 10 hours to get everything upright and cleared. The collapse happened at approximately 7 p.m. Monday night in a construction zone about one mile west of Grant Street.

Traffic was still snarled for early-morning commuters.

The crane involved weighed 35 tons and was carrying steel, which made cleaning up a challenge.
