Prosecutors want to increase the bail for the Berwyn woman charged with neglect after her son was found dead at her home, which was overrun with dozens of animals.

After her appearance before a judge Wednesday, Lydia Price left the Maywood Courthouse without speaking to reporters. She was released from custody Tuesday.

Price's son, 14-year-old Matthew Degner, was found dead last week at their Berwyn home. He died of pneumonia. Their home was overrun with about 200 animals.

Prosecutors are also asking a judge for a grand jury indictment.

A judge could decide on the requests at a hearing next month.
