A suburban school honors graduate who gave his life and also awarded the nation's highest military honor, the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Army Staff Sergeant Robert Miller was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor last year. His parents accepted the medal from president Obama last October.

On Thursday, Wheaton North High School renamed its commons area for the 2002 graduate. Miller died in 2008 during a fire fight in Afghanistan. Despite being wounded, he's credited with saving seven Americans and 15 Afghans.
