ABC7's Ben Bradley, others 'Plunge' down Loop hotel

September 17, 2011 (CHICAGO)

Among them was ABC7's own Ben Bradley. He and others got harnessed for the third annual Skyline Plunge down the Wit Hotel at State and Lake streets.

The Plunge raises more than $160,000 for the Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago to fund research and programs aimed at helping people living with asthma, COPD and lung cancer in the Chicago area.

"Our organization...is well known for our Hustle Up the Hancock event, which happens each February. We thought if we've got people going up a building, what better opportunity than to get them going down, as well," said Audrey Eisenberg of the Respiratory Health Association.

You can watch plungers Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
