The Joffrey Ballet's production of The Nutcracker returns to the Auditorium Theatre in December, and children ages 9 to 14 years old could audition for a part Sunday.
Try-outs for The Nutcracker were scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Joffrey Tower at 10 East Randolph in downtown Chicago.
