Gel could be needle-free alternative to Botox

September 21, 2011

Industry-funded research suggests that a gel based on the same active ingredient of the injectable Botox wrinkle treatment could help reduce the lines around the eyes known as crow's feet.

The gel is still undergoing clinic trials, and it is still not clear how much the treatment would cost, whether it would work better than Botox or when it might be available.
