September 24, 2011 (CHICAGO) --
One person was killed after being struck by a car early Saturday near Millennium Park.According to authorities, the victim was 50-year-old man, but police have not released his identity.
They say the man was hit by a passing car near East Monroe Street and Lake Shore Drive at approximately 1:15 a.m.
Police are investigating whether the 45-year-old driver of the car may have been under the influence.
No charges had been filed later Saturday morning.
