Man charged with DUI in Millennium Park death

Jimmy Members, 45, is expected to appear in bond court Monday. He's accused of running down a 50-year-old man who was walking across The Drive at approximately 1:15 a.m. Saturday.

Members was allegedly driving a 1999 Cadillac Seville when he struck the victim, who is from Washington state.

Stephen Dapogny, 50, of 17705 NE. 29th St. in Redmond, Wash., was pronounced dead on the scene at 1:27 a.m., according to the medical examiner's office.

Members, of the 2400 block of West Madison Street, was initially cited with hitting a pedestrian in the roadway, according to police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan.

As of early Monday, he has also been charged with felony aggravated DUI resulting in death and DUI, according to a police News Affairs release.
