Police found the body of 62-year-old Bruce Madiar outside his home in the 500-block of Dee Lane. A can of bee repellent was found near his body, police said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner said they cannot determine the cause of Madiar's death without further study. A final determination could take several more weeks.
Madiar's wife told police she did not think her husband was allergic to bees.
