Pre-hypertension may raise risk for stroke

Having blood pressure that's even a little bit higher than normal could be detrimental to your health -- it's called pre-hypertension.

Researchers say it can raise your risk of a having a stroke by more than 50 percent. Now, doctors may be thinking about starting treatments sooner in the hopes of preventing strokes.
