They say they ate at the Subway sandwich shop on Roosevelt Road in Lombard.
They contracted an illness called shigellosis. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea and fever.
It happened at the end of February last year. Four people were hospitalized.
The lawyers who filed the suit say a total of 116 people became ill.
