Fifty-two-year-old Carl Smiley was arrested last Friday when the Iowa State Patrol pulled over the Megabus he was driving.
A Des Moines TV station reports Smiley's blood alcohol content tested at 1 1/2 times the legal limit.
Megabus has suspended Smiley pending the outcome of the case against him.
